I'm Back-Summer fun!

Joel left for his deployment June 3rd. School got out June 5th. I decided to take a road trip to Utah for the summer since the kids were out of school and hubby was gone. Thanks to my mother n law who flew out and drove back with me. she was great. We have been busy Swimming, camping, parades, carnivals, hanging out with friends and cousins and of course being with the family. I was soooo tired at the end of each day. The kids had a great time and cried when it was time to come home. They met some friends in my moms ward and played with them all the time. The overall trip was fantastic. I am glad to be back in my own home and to get my husband back in just 2 days. woohoo! Thanks to my Grandma Calder who drove back with me on the way home she was so awesome. Sounds a little fishy to me!!

Kalee is so Adorable! She did a terrific job in her musical. She did all the actions and her singing was like a movie star! lol! You could hear her over all the other kidsd. She was great!! I am so glad she is not tone deaf like her mommy. She is one cute beach girl!

Joel Drew this and I cut it out and we both colored it with chalk. We used tissue paper for the water effect on the blow hole. He did a fantastic Job don't ya think.

ROLLER COASTERS!!!!!

Who loves roller coasters? I love them and my favorite one, by far the x or the batman ride at Six Flags. The reason I ask this is because that is exactly what my emotions have been doing for the last month, and I thought I would blog about it. Many of you already know that Kalee was put in the hospital because we were told she had Kawasaki disease. It’s a rare disease that is curable. If you want more info on it then please look it up, it’s an interesting disease. It all started with Kalee getting Fevers of 102.9 and them not going away. She had a fever for 5 days straight. She also had Mono at the same time. She was such a trooper. She had blood drawn 5-6 times and a IV, x-rays, chest ultrasound. She hated the hospital. Grandma Bragg flew out and took care of the kids, she was an absolute life savor. My friend Julie also helped out. She was wonderful and I will always be thankful. My mom also came out to help after Kalee was out of the hospital. Of course Joel was gone while this was happening. I went and talked to his Commander and we were lucky that they had a rotator coming home from the desert. They decided to send Joel home on it, so he got to come home 3 weeks early. Starting with my miscarriage and then Kalee getting sick and Joel coming home my emotions were sad, worried, relieved, and happy. I never ever want anything like that to happen to one of my kids again. There are no feelings to describe the grief that comes with dealing with one of your kids being that sick. My heart goes out to all the parents that have sick children that have to stay in the hospital for days at a time and that are going through much worse than what we had to go through. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. We are very blessed and I am so thankful for everyone’s prayers on our behalf. The good news is we get to go on some real roller coasters...we are going to Disneyland in May!

Super boy turns 2!!!!!

I can’t believe he’s 2 already. He had a wonderful day filled with presents, pizza and cake that he didn’t even eat, and going down to great Grandma Bragg’s house. Although he didn't feel to great he was in a good mood all day! he played with Cousin Justin and cousin Kyle who gave him fun car rides in his new car. he played with the other cousin aswell and had lots of fun. Thanks Grandma for letting us come down, and for eveyone who came to celebrate and for the presents. We missed having the Grandma's and Grandpa's Aunts and Uncles and Cousins from Utah, however he is enjoying all the gifts they sent him. I thought I took more pictures but I guess not however I did take a lot more video that is will being coming soon!

Challenges

A week of challenges,that is the best way to put it. Since last Saturday I have had really sick kids Clark is the last to get it and is still sick I think every outfit I put on has snot on it within seconds. I think most people new I was pregnant, well I had a miscarriage I was about 9 weeks. I started spotting and went to the ER on Wednesday was there from 4:30-10:00( I do not like the ER) they did a bunch of stuff in the End to be told there was no more baby. It was very hard to hear I think I already new. I had so many plans already. Last Tuesday I new something was happening so I prayed that I would have peace in whatever what suppose to happen from the next day on I have felt peace. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and is aware of me, I know this was nature taking care of my body getting rid of something that wasn’t right. I know that another being is suppose to be in our family so when the time is right it will come. The Hardest part was not having my husband around to comfort me or me to comfort him. I am at peace and although I am sad I have to be grateful that I have 3 wonderful kids that were the best pregnancies ever. The week Ended on a Happy note our little boy turned 2.

Stinson Beach

A couple of Saturday’s ago Joel had a great Idea to take the girls to Stinson beach and have a picnic. The drive there is beautiful, however it has the windiest road that goes on and on and on for about 20 minutes. It really makes you dizzy. The day could not have been better, it was gorgeous weather, blue skies, no wind and was 65 degrees. The picnic area was great. We ate lunch then headed out to the beach. The girls had so much fun. They immediately ran toward the waves, Clark however, was a fready cat and every time the waves got to close he would run away really fast. A couple of times he was trying to run to fast he biffed it and ate the sand it, was really funny. We stayed for almost 3 hours just playing and all the kids had a wonderful time.

Clark found a pool of water on the beach and decided to take a dive. Good thing we were just about to leave. He was so heavy with all those wet clothes on, so we stripped him to his diaper and I took off running to the car.

Daddy made the girls into Mermaids and they loved it. Lily said" I am a Mermaid finally" then she broke free and stood up and said " and now I am human again."

KALEE'S BIRTHDAY

I finally got these pictures from Joel’s camera at Kalee’s birthday party back in October. It took forever to get them on the blog but I thought I would post them anyway since they are so cute. Kalee had a Hannah Montana party with her friend from school and the ward they had a great time.

When Joel went to go get the cake he was on the way out of the store and he tripped. There is a thumb print on the bottom, right smack in the middle.
